Recent News

The John & Sabina Petillo Center for the Performing Arts was officially unveiled to the community this month. The new wing now features offices, a spacious area for costumes and wardrobe fittings, a large shop for set construction, a Black Box Theatre, rehearsal rooms for dance, and a band and a choral room, each outfitted with special acoustics. Read more

Taylor Langon '16, plays a key role in keeping NFL players safe while performing at their best as the first full-time athletic trainer to be employed through the NFL League Office in her role as director of health and innovation. Read more

SHU alum Toni Bishop-McWain '13, Vice President and Chief Nursing Officer of Saratoga Hospital, has been honored as one of "The Top 50 Women Chief Nursing Officers of 2024" by Women We Admire. Read more

CoreBev founder and CEO, Stelios Stavrianos '14, has opened Connecticut Distilling in Waterbury. The distillery will serve as the new manufacturing hub for all domestic legacy CoreBev products and will feature a tasting lounge where guests can enjoy craft cocktails. Read more

ICYMI: Homecoming Weekend 2024

During Homecoming Weekend, we celebrated eight exceptional Pioneers at the Distinguished Alumni Awards ceremony. Peter Gabriel MBA '08 received SHU's highest honor, the Distinguished Alumni Achievement Award. In addition, other alumni and friends were also honored including Jenna M. Greco '17, Michael F. Dow '98, MS '00, Michael W. Nimons '97, MAT '00, Jason P. Prevelige '04, Judy Ann Riccio, Lilliam “Lillie” Ennis '04 and Tara L. Ryan-DeDomincis '14. Read more

The Midtown Men: Benefit Concert

Alumni Memorial Mass | November 3

We invite all members of the SHU Alumni community to come and join in a commemoration of those who have passed away since 2020. The Mass will take place on Sunday, November 3 at 11:00 a.m. in the Chapel of the Holy Spirit.

To submit names of Alumni or Alumni family members whom you would like recognized during the mass please complete the form online.
